I love the way your seemingly simple, slightly elusive message contains some deep dives that are somewhat hidden. For example “costume” could mean dressing up like a clown or slipping into the typical garb that ladies feel a need to don for the romance game. Also, “getting naked” could be the beginning of a romantic interlude or it could be the process of getting to know one’s own truth in a solitary situation. To me, nudity is freedom & considering the title you’ve chosen, I feel your own impressions could be similar (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
A profound write indeed, Wearing clothes sometimes
equates to wearing a suit of armor beneath them we
feel protected, without them we become shy and
unsure. At least this is what I get from this write...
Nicely done..
I like the way this poem strips off much more than clothes. It alludes to self examination without restriction as an artist would paint a self portrait and try to reveal their soul and character. We are all naked beneath garments which cover the essence of our motives. Very nice.
It's a wonderful journey this becoming, It's part letting go of who I was, while releasing the beliefs that sabotage what I want to be, and-knowiing that in order to transform, I can't live in b.. more..
