FRACTIONALIZED

FRACTIONALIZED

A Poem by Theo Critus
"

A never-to-be-forgotten Woman

"

My memories are so much more than feelings,

yet my feelings are all wrapped in memories.

You made me feel good in heart and mind.

You said aloud the words one should, not just to be kind.

"The Love Is The Love, Though Without The Oath,"

an ancient Asian adage, and pledge between us both.

I said, "Promises aren't what I make or want", and that's true,

for mere promises would have brought mere insincerity from you.

So now my love is memories, slow, frame-by-frame

as I count my tears and their days, all-in-all the same:

"Quam minimum credula postero; carpe diem!" tis said;

"Don't count on tomorrrow; sieze this day!" Then you lay dead.

But lack or loss of Love does not wound.  It can't reach my heart.

For when we two "Promised", we gave away our fairest part.

Oh, you loved me by fractions, each square centimeter.

Oh, you love me now in your actions!  LOVE ME.....FOREVER !!
