PINING FOR PEANUT BUTTER

PINING FOR PEANUT BUTTER

A Poem by Tom

PINING FOR PEANUT BUTTER

Love that creamy mixture

In my life quite a fixture

Spread it on some bread

Pumps joy in my head

Awesome combo with jelly

Feels great in my belly

O what a taste

It shall never go to waste

Peanut butter is my fave

Get all the money I can save

Down to the grocery store

Buy that goodness I do adore

In the middle of the night

I have a smooth foresight

Happiness comes to my palette

So I guess it'll be a habit

Mind full of ooey gooey

Gonna make it my duty

Livin on the edge of kooky

With a side of somewhat spooky

Fun little poem. Not much to be said really, but it is nice to come across something that is not all death, loneliness, and despair.
