The Married Life

The Married Life

A Poem by TTBoy28

He flew

For the first time after

 A married argument

He flew

On the ride to the airport

 They discussed

 Argued

 Discussed

Their schedules, their emotions

Their thoughts, rejection, objections

But never

Others or infatuations

 He wanted to fly

 They wanted to fly

And this was the perfect time

 To do it

23 and 31

what an age difference

When he returns

they'll see who flew the highest

 or the most
