The Umbilical Cord

The Umbilical Cord

A Poem by TTBoy28

The eyes

of a young girl

looking at the convict

 never lies

She sees in him

 what her mother

must have seen in

 her father

the hardness of

his manhood pressed

ever so violently against

 the bars

She can only imagine

 Dream

of what he's

going through

only imagine

what's behind the

bar

until it's out

And another young

girl is looking at

 the convict
