...A Girl I Know

...A Girl I Know

A Poem by TTBoy28

There's a girl I know

who makes the wind blow

Every breath taken and used

with utmost indiscretion

Never considering who she may

blow down with her little, fat,

rolley-polley body

But discretion is always used

when acknowledging this girl

I know's presence

There's a girl I know

who makes the wind blow

Sometimes, I really believe

the wind to be fearful of her

despite her disposition

When she enters a room

the wind enters first

As if it runs from her

 demeanor

Voices carry for

this girl I know

For the old mighty wind

isn't so mighty at all

People fear the wind

Any day any time

whether it's raining or the sun

is shining

For they know that the girl I know

isn't far behind

and she's never whining
