True Devotion

True Devotion

A Poem by TTBoy28

2nd finger

to thumb

I chanted while

I danced a prayer

for my boundaries to

be expanded for all Man

and that no hurt would

become of any

 for the sun to shine

alongside the moon

as owls would keep watch

over the day

Susceptible to flattery

is the spirit to incense

I, begging to be prey

for the giver of gifts

writhe in delight

for my want was great

As I felt greater than

my want

And having a dance partner

who is always in step with me

But continues the dance

long after Amen

About
The truth shall set you free. I try to be adventurous. I am spontaneous. I love nature but love to write only about personal events. You can tell when something is made up. It could still sound g.. more..
