Time of the Mind

Time of the Mind

A Poem by TTBoy28

Time has ruined itself

As it looks back

unable to see the future

because of what it allowed and

did not allow to happen

Forgiving what should not have been

Not forgetting what should have been

Laughing clocks on the wall

On desk

Constant reminders of misses and mistakes

To-Dos

Of the voluntary and the rapes of

the second hands

that should move the others

Batteries are the minds that mind

Time

Without them there is none

And a clock stands for nothing if the

Mind is not working
