Did we really take the same journey

And had the same desire to be changed

differently?

As if I could feel my own ascension,

I watched as yours remained

and your speech became envious of

me

and not of what had happened to me

My heart goes out to you

For had this intense greatness that I

feel happened for you

in no way could I see or feel myself

standing in the shoes you wear daily

Though I bought the shoes you walked in

during our journey together,

and even held your hand through it all,

I now know you had a different agenda

Maybe that's why...
