In Love With Blubber

In Love With Blubber

A Poem by TTBoy28

Deadly sauces

applause for the absent-minded

sense of pretenses unable

to imagine the figure could

mass-produce such juvenile germs

Ginger provoking a cleansing save

the liquid of the hue that bubbles

inside a cow-like hide

Gluttony weakens what could be

 carried by the second

and thumb

Forcing the bladder into a glute

No longer astute

No threat any longer but pity

fears a heart that will cease

choice

And the eyes will close forever

prematurely

. i'm not sure i follow all ... but the last five lines are very, very compelling ... i know a pair of eyes that have closed forever prematurely ... and it's gonna take a moving mountain to open them ... and i also know that place ... where there's no threat but pity ... for me, it's hitting rock bottom in full public view ... that's where i'm at actually ... and it's painful ... but in a strange sort of way ... better ... because now there's no burden of expectations ... (i haven't even told my folks about the anthology yet - shall probably surprise them with it) ...
