The Macallan Girl

The Macallan Girl

A Poem by TTBoy28

The sun moves

wherever she rests

and blocks the moon

when she rises

Along does the air

When she speaks

her silence

brings peace below the clouds

Still

everything marches to her beat

with the sun and its heat

melts frothy frowns

gluing eyelashes to eyelids

upon her arrival to greet the day

See how the trees stand taller

amidst every boy dog denouncing dysfunction

Everything rises when she does

so as to not blemish love for her

Every thing longs to be loved by her

Challenging the moon to be full

when the stars shine as stars

bursting as comets

ready to take the wind from her perched lips

back to Heaven

while the ground beneath her quakes

bowing roses on the surface

growing beneath the eye of the beholder

And she

Oblivious to it all yet

Infatuated with all

Still

the sun moves
