The Best of Them All

I could sing about rivers

I could even sing about Fall

When I do it gives me shivers

To know I have the best of them all

 

Crystal clear I see you

Along with everything you do

You’re the reason I stand tall

Knowing I have the best of them all

 

The stress I would carry

To keep you safe from harm

Would just be a part of nature to marry

You and show you off on my arm

 

But I’d rather it be just me and you

In this world that knows we are one

Or should I sing about Spring

If there is water nearby let me drown in

A pool that means my everything
