The Ring

The Ring

A Poem by TTBoy28

Set in its way
It waits for its occupant
Be it a perfect fit or not
Someone will wear it
Though time may not be
very kind
A little elbow grease
could approve the lease
And as cloaking
causes choking
The only way out
results in shedding and a shout
Whereas its way
may lay on display
It can never be re-done
either by a longer
or wider one
With practice
it can get worn out
instead of out-worn
