Coconut Cookie

Coconut Cookie

A Poem by TTBoy28

Bitten

So sweet

Deep in Love

Crave it I to deplete

Chips inside

They melt on my fingers

Scent of delight

Oh how it lingers

I can’t just eat it

Like I’m some rookie

It’s like I’m on a mission

With a coconut cookie

Packaged real well

Tastefully pretty

No time for a bib

Face and lips so gritty

With cream on the side

Awaiting its due

For a dip or a scoop

To be stuck like glue

I can’t just eat it

Like I’m some rookie

It’s like I’m on a mission

With a Coconut Cookie

Down it goes

Amid screams of heavenly delight

All manners are forgotten

As my face sees a different light

The soldier stands at attention

Below the volcanic eruption

Donning gear and protection

Enabling its chance for sinful corruption
