Davida Faith

Davida Faith

A Poem by TTBoy28

Such a pretty girl

Sometimes with an attitude

Knows what she wants from life

Even though things can be so rude

Such a simple girl

Mixed up in a mixed up world

Knows the hand she’s got to play

But she will find a way

(Chorus)

When you think about love

Don’t forget to look above

Stars do fall from the sky

And Heaven’s angels do cry

Try not to think about pain

Cause there’s bound to be some rain

And life’s to blame all the same

There’s a game in her name

Davida Faith

She might have a child on her arm

Still it won’t change her charm

She’s still a child, ya know

No matter how well she grows

She’ll try to teach all too well

Hiding her feelings so you can’t tell

How much she needs to be

Footloose and fancy-free

With her back against the wall

Worn down, but she’ll never fall

She’s got a plan to fill

It’s just her good strong will

Everybody needs a mother

At a time there is no other

Then again, what’s a girl to do

Except pray to God to not stay blue
