TravelingA Poem by ROXANE DORSEY
Scattered sky, run wit me.
As I chase the wind west of Arizona's reddish ruins. Aside the Colorado's mountain springs. Cool waters gushing against slimy rocks. Somber the mood, there's a breeze. Ah, peace, be still. Feel the murk at the bottom of my sole. Deep timid shores of Florida. Paradise! Trees line the outer countryside among'st dirt roads. Capture my soul within the wind dust as it flees. Blinded by a mirage, superior to lust. Lost, 360 degree turn. Wow! Vegas. A Hoax. Roll the dice. Many here to win treasures. America leads a good traveling life with plenty commuting in a hurry. Taking no time to smell what life represents. As simple as a rose with thorns. It comes with the territory. My clever love. Unfriendly ground, Homewood bound. Baltimore City streets paved with asphalt & blood. Guns and Guns of unloaded pain. It's here that love overlooked a bag of poetry. I unpacked, read & waited for a lonely traveling man. He should be turning the corner with my love in tote. He knows where we'll go. Retire. Relax in a country setting, open range, trees, insects and animals. Loads of flowery beds next to a moon lite creek full of shiny waves. Sparkling beauty.
