Raindrop falling

From the sky slowly

Drifting through the air

Like a lonely little kite

Fluttering with the wind

Like a dying bird

Ocean below beckoning

With crashing waves

Yelling for the raindrop

With wild winds

Falling and and drifting

Fluttering too

The raindrop

Like a lonely kite

Plummets to the ocean

Like a dying bird

Into the ocean

The raindrop becomes

Nothing but a memory

Of something much different
