The Moment I Woke UpA Story by Taciturn49
From the moment I woke up, the day looked very unusual. There was a breeze of anxiety that brought a chill around my back. A smell of fear just took over the oxygen in the room. I turned the hallway light on, but a shadow that extinguished most of the light had taken over.
As I slowly walk to the kitchen, I look at the floor and notice the cat is not in its usual place. In fact, I don’t see the cat at all. I hear some noise coming from the living room. I remain still just listening. It’s like a growl of some sort. The noise gets louder as I get closer to the living room. The strange growl gets louder and more terrifying as the seconds tickle on the clock. My heart is pounding. I feel a cold sweat invade my body. I start shaking uncontrollably. My vision has become blurred. Fear has taken over as I come straight to the middle of the living room.
I see where the Growl is coming from and now I really feel the fear. I find myself unable to breathe normally. She growls very loud and the walls tremble while at the same time the room becomes darker. Then she says with the most terrifying voice and evil eyes “What the hell you looking at?” And it is at that moment I see the box of Midol on the table and realize; Rebecca’s got her period. AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
