Count One to One

Something I put together a while ago

One word hasnt been said since the day he left
Two friends he disowned in order to prove himself to her
Three words will never have the same meaning to him ever again
Four hours of thinking he does every night
Five Shots of fifty percent to help him sleep
Six Nightmares he had of the same girl
Seven times he felt mistreated since the last Kital was said to him
Eight perfectly folded stars out of two hundred other fail attempts
Nine things left unsaid, he wonders if this was right
Ten times he tried to appologise, If only she could hear

Nine Bottles of beer found on the floor
Eight times he tried calling
Seven days since he left her
Six weeks since it last felt real
Five hours of sleep he gets every night
Four people who dont even see his pain
Three words was all he wanted to hear from her
Two people she had to choose from, it was obviose who she chose
One way to end it all....

There is so much emotion in this piece, and the way it seems almost analytical makes it all the more powerful.
