Love is pain

One of my friends wrote it. Go Kayla! She's awsome.

Love is pain,

When the person you thought loved you,

And yet doesn't.

Love is the direction you decide to take,

On your own withouit help.

Love is not a mistake,

Only an expirence that you take.

Love is guidence through the dark,

Into the light.

When you find someone with your time,

Love is worth anything in the world.

In the end,

Love is just what you make of it.

I think this poem has a very innocent and true sentiment, however, it could be brought deeper. I'm not about giving cookie cutter responses to poems. I wanted to share this with your friend because any advise can make someone a better poet. Kayla, you have a wonderful talent, but you need to sit on each word and tell us more. The reader (me) wants to know more of your feelings, let us in. I can feel a hint of sorrow and mournfulness from this piece. Open your heart and this poem I'm sure would hit the floor. Nice write.
