So angrily yelled
I could tell he immediately wanted to take them back
Stunned into silence I stood
My hand across my chest
Maybe I had misunderstood
Words were what I lacked
How could one sentence render me so useless
My head spinning and I couldn't help but stare
"You are perfect for me"
The words felt heavy in my heart
I couldn't comprehend
I felt peace for a moment
Happiness that you didn't hate me
And yet there was a nagging in my lungs calling for me to breath
You said you cared about me
But how could you say those words
And still walk away.

Again very poignant imagery you've come up with. Your write tells how the love may be seemed like a broken shard of scars that costs the heart much with heartaches. Well written.
