Just a poem I wrote

 

Do you really mean it?

When you say its ok

When you say its all fine

 

Are you telling the truth?

Will we be whole again?

Will we be together?

 

When you say it

Do you know?

Or are you just assuring me?

 

Please don’t lie

Please don’t say these things

Mean what you say

 

Tell me the truth

I know it will hurt

But I need the truth!

 

So when you say its ok

When you say its fine

Do you really mean it?

When I read this I thought that it came right from my brain! That's not a compliment for me but a compliment for you! This completely hit home and it was presented in such a clear and simple manner, yet the way you wrote it was anything but simple. Honest and to the point... creative and tugs on the heart strings. The best part is that it can be read and viewed from so many different perspectives.
