Current Affairs

This, and only this, has saved my life.

It was only when i ceased to care about anyone, I could truly live. 

I could only live in their shadow's but there it was a cool temperature, it was my home. 

And it is here I stay. I have finally given up trying to help them, they don't care enough to truly want it. By living insane, i lived free, free from problems, life, reality, it was a simpler time, now my heaven has turned to hell, and i apologize to the young man I once was.

I no longer see reason in life.

Aww, i'm sorry that your feeling depressed. I can relate quite well with this poem of yours. I know how it's like giving up on life. Sometimes one does need to stop caring for a while.. because if others don't give back.. with their own kindness.. it feels like you don't mean anything.. Especially if they don't make way to even try to help you out. I love how powerful your poem is to me. Wonderful work!
