I Want to be in Control

Been down lately, so I'll just put my emotions here.

Everything I do, never seem to be seen
Have I been doing everything wrong?
Am I the problem?
Am I the variable that destroys?

Is life really is an absurd cycle?
I try to do my best
Yet it cycles down again
A spiral of repeated events

Yet, I find myself still trying
Am I a fool for doing so?
Or Am I a martyr?
A martyr of the thing called destiny

I refuse to let it take me down
I refuse to believe life as absurd
I refuse to bend to it's power
I want, to be in control
