Are We Greedy or Alone?

What are we really? Do we seek everything to because it's our nature to be greedy? Or are we just trying to find the thing that will fill our hole within?

I feel a deep hole in my chest
Tried to fill it with every scraps
Art, music, leisure, and food
Nothing seems to satisfy

Am I greedy or am I alone?
What is this feeling?
This satisfaction in life
When will it be filled?
