Cardboard Crown RequiemA Poem by Tasi83![]() A drunken homeless man wears a dirty cardboard crown, his hairy mutt-dog constantly sniffs at him. As if not only people - but also busy pigeon flocks - were deliberately smearing it on his head with distorted disgust. Somehow the average person doesn't even notice, as if the forgotten humanity and human intention were making him equally miserable, that you too were once human, and now ruthless Time has shredded us into wreckage. Good and bad intentions today seem to suddenly disappear into what never was. Man is forced to comfort himself by cherishing, like a crying little child who constantly demands his forgiving mother, looking into the faraway distance with his haunted, blurry eyes. Everything and everyone remains indebted - not only to his stepfather's Fate, but also to his useless life, which he could have received as a gift at birth. - You have to fit in - surprisingly many people know this well - but be careful! You must not give in, and you must not lick asses, because the average person - no matter how much they want to - can only be a dark pawn on the old, worn-out chessboard of their unworthy Existence, and so - no one asks - they continue to tolerate the filth of the World that mocks their human dignity. The mere Reality has become a deep pit and a cesspool, from which there is rarely anything but a permanent way out; greedy petty people are still driven, driven by the greed lurking on the solidified stump, and between two benches they easily fall into the mouth of the pit, because moral morality dies in people a little after a day, and they are forced to watch the camp of useless crested oxen and bleating brainwashed sheep, as they pound their chests and almost proudly go to the petty slaughterhouse of their own lives. © 2025 Tasi83 |
