Crumbs of the Sand TruthA Poem by Tasi83![]() Man tries to scrape together the crumbs of the sand truth that seem irrefutable, through his vile life; he is at once hardened and bewitched, he struggles eternally, ceaselessly, among the fishing nets of contracts and petty bargains. His otherworldly complaints, which he once and a while worthily blamed on celestial powers, seemed to disappear. His flagging, ready-to-act emotions were replaced by dreams that plundered the petty reserves. Yet somehow in the meantime, as if the leaven of career building, livelihoods, hunger-wage-like outbursts, hysterical nagging had turned against him; as if recently will, action, and humility had undergone a strange-strange metamorphosis of their own accord; The actor with the face of a toilet paper boy appears in a torrent of sparkling and shining rain, who only plays but does not feel his significant role, and then, in the manner of simple visions, that which was never born, that would have worthily corrected the ambiguity of historical ages, dissolves. Who can still want to hold on firmly to the unnecessary shadows dragging on the ground?! Everywhere, the common man encounters a wide range of human wreckage offspring; the fawn-like gaze of supermodels is full of significant pearl tears, and fewer and fewer people can even notice: who has what kind of calvary came out of their storm-battered childhood. The centipedes are running here and there in the urine-smelling regions of the extinct cities of Nineveh, as if the meaning of tomorrow no longer really matters. The wolf-driven, Alamus sheep's shock of wanting to bleat is still faithfully etched in the eyes of many, the clocks are ticking away before the final countdown. A sacred shell-solitude that is absorbed into the marrow has surrounded their selfish-vain souls; a petty man, a prisoner of throbbing passions, would not even ask himself: What business do you still have here on this earth?! And while the time of waiting, which he believed to be solid, has long since expired, man also deliberately forgets himself.
