CHESSBOARD OF DILETTANT INTERESTSA Poem by Tasi83 It seems that all the remaining emotional trinkets have suddenly disappeared from the labyrinth of brain convolutions; empathy-tolerance, the intention to help. The person is blinded by the many sermons in disguise, the unnecessary masquerades. As if instinct and decency now let themselves be deceived and led, because they can't really understand anything else; as a whole series of surreal incomprehensions imprisons the person between the cage-obstacles of one or two incompetent dilettante masters. Out there, a noisy colony of toads and worms is currently burrowing and nesting for who knows how long?! Unnoticed gliders are crawling like snakes, and they can't wait to hunt down the so-called deserved prey that belongs to them alone. Industrious, busy swarms of mosquitoes suck the life-giving nectar like careful leeches at the expense of others; let alone the average person being able to live a more livable, more orderly lifestyle. Fate is still sending out invisible tick-tocks from itself. In the purgatory of the uncertain Future, executioner's nooses penetrate unnoticed under the pores of the skin; and while more and more people prefer to break sticks over the heads of others, where are the few, helpful ones left behind, who would still have plenty of tasks to do?! Quite a few people have already - even so - decided to lick the tiny feet of scoundrels in exchange for a bite or two of misery and the desire to assert themselves. With scarred words, telling honest truth, rarely has a single person stepped onto the chessboard of life who would have acted of their own free will. If a calculating interest demands it, goodwill increasingly fades away in both the living and the dead, just like silent submission set on the tip of the teeth.
