A sacred place now hosts despicable acts,
Where fat pockets determine your worth and values react
The melodious sister's voice is now silenced by her shameful secrets
The keyboardist's charm hides evil intents
Kids' use of social media makes parents puke in disgust
Uncertainty of the future, we are losing trust
Loss of faith has rocked everyone like an epidemic
Everyone concurs, this is a formidable pandemic

This appears to be an unvarnished lament - a frustrated shout of how rapidly we have decayed. There is a sense of powerless disappointment, maybe even rage, flowing through this but also a subtle sadness lingering beneath. You are pointing to the fraying of anything sacred, cherished or once trusted and it stings.
