What I Didn't Say

She didn't tell me I had to talk.

She said I merely had to sit with them.

If I feel sad,

I will get away from my family,

Because they make everything worse.

I don't really want to die,

Do I?

When I'm around them,

I think I do.

When they're gone,

I feel so much safer,

Like I'll be okay.

I guess that's just my imagination.

I won't be okay

And they'll never leave me alone.
