Tick,

Tock,

The clock sings.

Along comes a singing bird,

Adding its tune.

A dog barks

And howls,

Singing away the pain.

This is the saddest song

So I add my voice

And it becomes

A melancholy hum

Spreading our depression

To everyone who will listen.
