Until I'm Gone

Until I'm Gone

A Poem by Kiara

My mind goes blank.
My heart speeds up.
My vision is slow.
My body is gone.

I'm not in control.
I'm sitting here, scared.
I'm sitting here, hurt.
I'm sitting here, alone.

The metal in my hand is cold.
The metal is sharp on my wrists.
The metal is bloodstained and dripping.
The metal is dropped to the ground.

I lay back and watch my wrists bleed
Until there's no blood left in me.
