Something Isn't Right

Something Isn't Right

A Poem by Kiara

Something's wrong.
My head hurts.
I'm not doing things right.
I'm doing things I don't do.
My head won't think,
It hurts to think.
I feel a wave of motion sickness
In every step.
I climb up the stairs
And into the bathroom.
I was planning to go to my room.
I pull my shirt off
And my bloodshot eyes
Watch the skin over my ribs
Move up and down quickly, panting.
I want to collapse on the floor,
The still, cool floor.
I put my shirt back on,
Crawl to my room,
And lay on my bed
Before I lose consciousness.

Kind of, but I didn't crawl to my room and I fell asleep, not lose consciousness.
