I Remember

I Remember

A Poem by Kiara

The sun comes out
But I don't see it.
All I see is you,
In my bedroom,
Sleeping.
You look so peaceful,
Like nothing happened last night,
But I remember.
I remember the lies,
I remember the way
You hit me,
And said you didn't love me.
I remember you calling me
Names like
W***e
And b***h
And ugly.
I remember you pretending again
And kissing me
And hurting me again.
