Proving Your Lies

Proving Your Lies

A Poem by Kiara

This is worthless
And you are merciless.
I know I can't make you tell the truth.
I know that I have no proof.
I can't make you admit your lies,
Even though it stands undisguised.
I can't prove that I heard what you said.
You know that I wish you were dead.
You go on and on
But I know you're wrong.
You know I can hear
But your words don't produce a single tear.
My eyes are dry
And that's when you cry.
You can't make me hurt
Even though you treat me like dirt.
You can scream and shout
And then go pout
Because I'm right,
So hurry up and pick fight or flight
Becuase I'm not staying long.
I'll prove you wrong, and then I'm gone.
