Nervousness for Failure

Nervousness for Failure

A Poem by Kiara

My heart speeds up,
Fluttering in my chest.
Everyone will be watching you.
You'll mess up so bad
That everyone will leave the room.
You should have practiced
But instead you procrastinated.
Maybe you should stop trying to
Do these things.
You never do well,
And the highest you've gotten
Was a silver.
You've never even
Attempted
A solo before,
So good luck...
You'll need more than that.
I enter the room
And the judge looks up.
