What Happened Last Night

I wake with a silent scream.

I can't breathe.

I reach for my neck,

Where my phone charger is tangled.

It's to tight,

I try to wake you up,

But you don't hear.

I finally pull the tangle loose.

I cough and pant

But you don't even wake.
