Standing here, 
I wonder
Why is it so heartbreaking
To watch others on this day?
Today should be no different
From yesterday,
Or last week.
Today is the day
To make others feel lonely.
Hugs and kisses
Flood through my vision.
Today is celebrated,
But without a good reason.
