Last Glint of Hope

Last Glint of Hope

A Poem by Kiara

I'm awake.
I'm alone.
My dream has faded
Into reality.
Now I see
There's no place to call home.
Everyone's gone
And I sing my last song.
Wishing and wishing
That it will last too long.
If someone hears
The heartbroken voice,
They might come cheer
And change my choice.
Maybe they'll say
It will all be okay.
Maybe they'll tell me to wait
Until another day.
