Empty Eyes

Empty Eyes

A Poem by Kiara

In class,

I pay no attention.

I just sit and stare.

I watch the memories,

With an emptiness

That has always been there.

Why is this happening?

I've done nothing wrong,

But this is still my last song.

I'll sing I love you,

Forever alone.

Now I'll let my tears be shown.

I'll sit here,

Memories dancing in opened eyes.

I just watch, enveloped in these lies.
