When I'm With You

When I'm With You

A Poem by Kiara
"

Another old poem

"

Every time I see your face

Or those beautiful brown eyes,

I have to remind myself to breathe.

Whenever I sit next to you

I feel my heart beat faster.

I feel butterflies in my stomach

And a lump in my throat.

As soon as you say my name

My eyes fill up with tears.

I love just being with you

Or repeating your name in my head.

Sometimes I write it on my hand

To look at for a treat.

I feel butterflies in my stomach,

My heart picks up speed,

And I must remind myself to breathe,

But that’s when I imagine you.

These symptoms worsen when I am with you.
