My Angel, I'm the Devil

My Angel, I'm the Devil

A Poem by Kiara

Your face glows warm
In the  candle light.
I'm invisible from the picture.
I'm the shadows in the background.
You're smiling, laughing.
Behind you, I'm crying, dying.
The sweet sound of your laugh,
A ringing angel's laugh,
Strikes my pale flesh.
You're happy without me in the picture.

I feel to have a good poem you must have passion, emotion, depth in each poem. And you do. This radiates with emotion. It's a striking resemblance to the feelings inside everyone experiences, but then it's a total stranger at the same time. The words flow out of you, and I think everyone can see that. You've come a long way, and there's so much further to go. You'll find your way with much ease.

Well done.
