I Am Numb

I am unfeeling.

The words are fuzzy in my deaf ears.

Everything is dull in my blind eyes.

I can only feel one way,

But you don't like that way.

I can't save myself

In fear of hurting you,

So until I break,

I'll let the nothingness spread.

Until I can end my pain and emptiness,

I will pretend.

I will act happy when I am emotionless.

I am numb.
