Keep Going

The world is crying

And broken hearts are dying.

All hope is being shattered

And we're forgetting the things that matter.

We just need to push through

And make it through

All these troubles.

We can't be reduced to empty puddles.

Puddles of shattered glass, lost and broken hearts.

I like shorter poems, they don't take forever to get to the point. This one is short and beautiful. It tells such a longer story in fewer words. I like the inspiration and the love.
