A Celebration of an Ending

A Celebration of an Ending

A Poem by Kiara
"

just a random write

"
Bloodstained cigarettes and tear-soaked ashes lay scattered
On the kitchen counter.
The steel-sharp knife drops,
Clatters,
And the purple vein in see-through skin explodes,
Erupts,
Overflows.
Metallic despair takes the air.

ok, not much of a celebration, but very graphically and carefully done. Especially strong final line. I liked it despite its sombre subject. well written Kiara
