Bad Front Handspring

Bad Front Handspring

A Poem by Kiara

I take a deep breath and run forward.
I jump up off the ground,
Flipping onto my hands.
My feet hit the ground,
First one
Then the other.
Pain shoots up the first leg,
My left.
I fall to the ground,
Stunned.
My leg is numb,
Except for a tingling sensation.
I stand,
Then limp away,
Wondering why I am so stupid.
