On the Porch

Every day on my ride to work
I see an old couple on the porch
And I think to myself that could be us

A lifetime of memories we still have to make
We're just getting started now
We have a lot to create

Our kids grow up so beautifully
We have nothing but pride
We took the trips we wanted
