Ripple

Ripple

A Poem by Teddybearlee

I told you the phoenix has died
The fight had been lost, the tears are still cried
Only one savoiur can march down and redeem him
Theres still a slight beat, to his hearts rhythm

The fight that has turned his soul in to dust
The one all knew, he should've given up
Under his grave he still twitches from time to time
Still looking, underneath the stars for a sign

He's broken and torn and severed at soul
His strength is diminished and his fire a mere glow
The death is a sleep, maybe an endless summer
But a whisper, a vibration, rescucitates him from down under

Her name, her voice, her words reach him even here
His mind, says never give up on love, my dear
What you know as true is true in reality
What you believe in is real, inside of me

He lays dormant, his sword still at his side
And the whispers bring forth, a tear from his eye
