The Mermaids

beautiful mermaids in their magical underwater paradise

Every summer near the ocean,

while the tides rise and fall

licking the sandy shore,

I look for mermaids.

They live in a glorious

underwater palace

and ride enchanted 

seahorses while they sing.

Sometimes, I swear I

 hear them singing.

Their voices rise and fall

with the tide.

We sing together

in harmony.
