Am I a stranger to you?

For how long is a stranger a stranger?
At what point is a stranger no longer a stranger?

If you smile at each other across the room
Are you still strangers?

If you say 'hello' once
Are you still strangers?

What about if you say 'hello' every day?
What if you read their stories online?

What if you know all about about someone
But have never gained the courage to speak?

If you talk together online but not in real life
Are you still strangers?
